“Do you think there’s a relation between solar activity and earthquakes?”
Question is do you?
Sorry if this is the wrong place – remove the comment when read.
We have our theories and lean towards more a yes than a no. Earthquakes happen year round and even when there are no sunspots but if you look at the history of solar activity in relation to earthquakes activity seems to pick up during solar cycles. If geomagnetic storms can affect our power grids and satellites because of certain conductors and the metals in the earth react to them then we would say that it can do the same for earthquakes. Thanks for commenting!
What does K-index warning mean and is it dangerous?…….if so, at what point?
LASCO C3 is showing from right to left what I believe is Elenin. This is simply amazing footage.
I’m even more amazed by the Fluff Cloud in our solar system which is highly magnetised. Will Space Weather Monitor be covering this area as well?
Keep up the brilliant work.
Thank you.
I was able to observe the enlil cone in movie. It is a name of enlil and ancient God.
What is the one like the plankton by which we look like surroundings of the sun?
On SOHO movies in red and blue I’ve noticed a bright light with a straight line moving from right to left. What is it? Anyone can explain that? Is that the light of any other star behind the Sun? Thanks, and keep up the extraordinary work.
Thanks for your comment and visiting! That bright line is simply the planet Venus in the background…
